Full-Time: CDL-A Drivers & CDL-B Drivers.
General Job Description:
1. Safely transport material to and from job sites in a safe and timely manner.
2. Safely transport equipment to and from job sites in a safe and timely manner.
3. Navigate to various destinations for material acquisition and/or disposal in a safe and timely manner.
4. Safely load and secure equipment onto trailer and unload equipment from trailer in a safe and timely manner.
Responsibilities & Requirements:
1. Possess a valid CDL-A or CDL-B License.
2. Prior professional driving experience is highly preferred.
3. Possess a clean driving record.
4. Willing to submit to a thorough background check.
5. Possesses a valid DOT Medical Card and able to pass Federal DOT pre-employment drug screen.
6. Absolutely no history of drug/alcohol abuse and no history of criminal activity.
7. Able to maneuver the truck/trailer with control in a safe, effective manner
8. Able to safely control speed while looking for and avoiding hazards.
9. Able to safely maneuver the truck/trailer in tight areas and around very tight turns.
10. Able to correctly secure loads with a tarp, chains, and straps.
11. Daily maintenance and inspection of truck/equipment, and reporting of any issues to lead mechanic or supervisor.
12. Dependable and extremely punctual.
13. Able to excellently communicate with coworkers.
14. Able to understand and follow instructions—both written and verbal.
15. Able to work very well both independently and as a team member.
16. Able to lift, carry, push, pull 60+ pounds.
17. Able to stand, sit, stoop and bend, kneel for several hours per day.
18. Follow all safety procedures/protocols.
19. Be ready and willing to work overtime.
20. Be ready and willing to work in all types of weather conditions.
21. Operate completely handsfree of electronics and other distractions.
22. Actively contribute to a positive and healthy work atmosphere/culture.
23. Operate with a high degree of professionalism, focus, effort, consistency, discipline, and dedication.
We require 2-3 professional and verifiable references per candidate.
Pay/Compensation:
Starting Pay: $22.00 - $35.00+/hour. Guaranteed 10 hours over time per week
Compensation is commensurate with prior, documented driving experience. We have a tiered compensation system for our
drivers based on prior experience. If the prospective class D or CDL-A candidate holds prior experience in non-CDL-required driving
roles and/or prior CDL-B driving experience, this may factor into a higher starting rate.
